Horace Nalle is a principal at Oriole Animal Health, an investment firm that focuses on the innovation of animal vaccination and medicines. Additionally, Horace Nalle is the board chair at the Atlanta Humane Society (AHS).
AHS is a nonprofit organization which for over 140 years has served as Atlanta's premier animal charity. It offers a number of services for pet owners, including low-cost, basic obedience classes that cover several commands such as paying attention, staying, walking on a leash without pulling, and waiting. Usually, these can be taught using treats as a reward, but this course aims to instill obedience among dogs without having to resort to rewards so owners can control their dogs with or without treats.
The cost for the entire six-week course is $129 and is open to dogs that are at least four months old, whether or not they are AHS adoptees. For more information on this training program, visit AtlantaHumane.org.
